Z1632 Federal 2.9" Solid Flat Top Bolt for a 10lb Parrott Rifle (Type I Sabot)
Description: Here is an excavated Parrott bolt with the tapered iron sabot showing three lands and three grooves. The metal on this shell is in nice condition with a few pitted areas. Use of these particular bolts is rare and I would say the majority of them have been recovered from Vicksburg and Petersburg.
Measures: 2.85" x 6.6"
Recovered: Vicksburg, Mississippi
