Z3346 British 41st Regiment of Foot Coat Button (The Welch Regiment)

Description: Nice excavated button that is missing the shank and has a clear backmark. The "1" on the face has a slight push or period mark that slightly obscures the number. This unit fought throughout Canada during the War of 1812. This example is made of plated pewter.

Backmark: "I McGowan / GERRARD ST / SOHO (dot) LONDON" rm

Measures: 20.88 mm
