Z2543 Three-Piece High-Convex Federal General Staff Coat Button (Post War)
Description: Nice button that would be a transitional type. The eagle is grasping three left arrows in its right talon. The spade has 13 stars at the top. Tice describes this backmark as 1850's-1860's and the face as 1860's-1870's.
Backmark: "(dot) D. EVANS & CO (dot) / ATTLEBORO' (dot) MASS" dm with inner solid ring
Measures: 22.78 mm
