Z2231 Massachusetts Artillery Militia Button (1800-1825)
Description: Decent excavated one-piece Massachusetts Artillery Militia coat button. This example has a side view of a flag and a cannon with a pile of cannonballs below the muzzle with "MASSACHUSETTS” above and "ARTILLERY” below. The detail is decent with part of the words worn off. The shank is intact and slightly bent.
Backmark: "GILT / LONDON” rm with wreath
Measures: 22.94mm
