Z3557 Two-Piece Marine Corps Coat Button (MC10, MC218A3)

Description: Nice button with plenty of gilt. Tice states this style was 1860 and in to the post war period. The back spins freely on this example and the shank is intact. This is a great example of a transitional button.

Backmark: "FREEMAN & CO. / ATTLEBOROUGH" dm
