Z3794 British Marines Coat Button (Pre-1802)
Description: Nice excavated button with a missing iron shank. This example was definitely a water recovery. This is the pewter type used by Enlistedmen and would have been produced prior to the change in 1802 where the "Royal Marines" was added to the buttons.
