Description: Here is a nice excavated eagle breasplate. This one was recovered near Brownsville, Maryland. It is flat and is missing both of the attachment loops. The back is maker marked.

Backmark: "W.H.SMITH / BROOKLYN"

Measures: 65 mm

Recovered: Route 67 Washington County Maryland across from Brownsville October 1994
