Z5594 Rickard Screw Key Locks of Shepherdstown
Description: Here is a lot of two very nice screw key locks manufactured in Shepherdstown, Virginia/West Virginia by the Rickard family. Each lock has a swivel loop pinned in at the hinge. Locally, these are known as switch locks. The same style locks can be found marked for use with the B&O Railroad. I’ve decided to keep this set together because the single key will work on both locks. One of the locks is unmarked while the other is stamped with an "ER” for Elijah Jackman Rickard 1795-1879.
Marked: One is unmarked and the other is marked "ER”
Measures: 2.75” x 2.5”
