Z5754 Early Cufflink with Naval Motif
Description: Decent set of early cufflinks with a Naval or Anchor motif. Each sleeve would have had a set of two. These cufflinks feature the slanted British fouled anchor. These typically date to the late 1700’s into the very early 1800’s. Tice mentions that they may have been manufactured in Britain. One of the pieces still retains the original shank and keeper. The other is missing the shank. Both were dug together and have the same style of face. The die work is weak but visible.
