Z6301 Civil War Era Aqua "Umbrella” Inkwell
Description: Nice complete rolled lip, open pontil, inkwell. This style is known as the "Umbrella” inkwell due to its appearance. These are often recovered from period privies and huts. This example was found in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It has a clear open pontil mark on the base with light surface scratches throughout. A very nice clean dug example.
Measures roughly 2.25” x 2.25” at the base and 2.5” tall.
