Z6548 .58 Benet-Primed Cartridge with Three Crimps
Description: Here is one that you don’t see too often. This isn’t your typical .58 Benet-primed cartridge for the early conversion muskets. It has a copper case, a lead bullet, and a copper cup. Typically, you will these with two crimps holding the cup in the base of the casing. This example has three crimps spaced .254” apart and .260” up from the base. A hard-to-find experimental variant! Similar to Z6036 and Z6547. This example has a dark case with spots and one very small dent with writing on the side. There is one bump to the tip of the oxidized bullet.
