Description: Decent example of the .50 Maynard "Round Ball” cartridge. These weren’t military issue cartridges. However, most .50 Maynard cased sets came with a single mold and one cavity is typically a round ball and the other is a flat nose projectile. These are more along the lines of a sporting cartridge. This example is in decent shape and doesn’t contain powder. The ball is held in place with friction and can be removed and placed back into the case mouth.
