Z1489 One-Piece Massachusetts Militia Button (Silvered)
Description: Very nice silvered Massachusetts militia button with the "Warranted / Treble / Plated" backmark. The stand up shank is intact. The silvering on the face is very nice but tarnished. These were produced during the first quarter of the 19th century according to Warren Tice.
Backmark: "WARRANTED (two branches tied with ribbon) / TREBLE / PLATED" dm with two rings between inscription"
