Z3071 One-Piece British 3rd West India Regiment Coat Button (War of 1812 Era)
Description: Here is a scarce pewter 3rd West India Regiment button with the iron shank intact. These regiments were comprised of freed slaves from the African market. This regiment was formed in 1795 and was disbanded in 1825. This unit was primarily focused in the Caribbean.
