Z7142 .44 Merwin & Hulbert Functional Dummy Cartridge
Description: Very nice .44 Merwin & Hulbert functional dummy cartridge manufactured by The Winchester Repeating Arms Company of New Haven, Connecticut. This variant has the large "O” in "CO.” It has a lightly oxidized flat nose bullet, a brass case, and a #1 oval copper primer marked "W” for Winchester. This example has two small holes drilled into the case on opposite sides and a wood rod on the inside. It has a nice case with a little spotting and the headstamp is highlighted with white out. There is a small flat spot on the side of the bullet. A hard-to-find variant.
