Z2645 Two-Piece Convex North Carolina Coat Button
Description: Here is a very nice North Carolina coat button. The face has excellent detail, the backmark is readable, and the stand up shank is intact. This button was in the personal effects of George E. Cook and may have been picked up when the regiment was in North Carolina from April to July of 1862.
Backmark: "S A MYERS / RICHMOND VA." rmdc
Measures: 22.55 mm
Recovered: From the personal effects of George E. Cook Company A 21st Mass. Vol. Regiment
