Z2644 One-Piece North Carolina Militia Coat Button
Description: Here is a very nice North Carolina coat button. This example has the "NC" on a stippled background with the wide raised ring. There is some gilt still surrounding the star and within the ring. The stand up shank is intact. This button was in the personal effects of George E. Cook and may have been picked up when the regiment was in North Carolina from April to July of 1862.
