Z2094 Ancient and Honorable Artillery Coat Button (Circa 1810)
Description: Nice one-piece convex Ancient and Honorable Artillery coat button. Tice states that these were manufactured around 1810. The face has a native with a star over his right shoulder. He is flanked with the words, "COMMON WEALTH.” This is the silver-plated version, and the face has a lot of tarnish making it appear black. The stand-up shank is perfect, and the face has a lot of detail!
Backmark: Blank with solid ring.
Measures: 24.88mm
Reference: Albert MS46A, Tice MS042A1
Recovered: Non-Excavated
