Z3484 Scarce Mass. Arms Maynard Tape Primer Roll as Issued
Description: Nice clean example with the original paper tie. This is the orange variant produced by the Massachusetts Arms Co. of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. There were two sizes of rolls based on the tubes. This is the larger roll containing approximately 50 caps whereas the smaller roll containing approximately 36 caps was meant for the small container. It is important to note there is a blue tape primer variant out there but I have yet to see one. Typically you run across the brown tape primers packed in a wrapper. That style was manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal.
