Z4210 Rare Confederate .50 Morse Carbine Center fire Cartridge

Description: Here is a very rare non-excavated .50 Morse carbine cartridge used in the brass frame Morse carbine. This is one of approximately 20,000 cartridges that were produced in Greenville, South Carolina starting in 1864. I've sold three non-excavated cartridges over the years and this is hands down the best I have seen. Everything about this cartridge is correct. The bullet is a two-groove bullet with the second groove seated below the mouth of the casing. It still retains it's original rubberized cloth washer and cap, and the casing itself is very crude! A very nice class A++ Confederate cartridge.
