Z4467 Mann's Patented Waist Belt Plate (Patented 1863)
Description: Nice excavated example with no issues. Per O & C, these were designed by William Mann of Detroit, Michigan while he was serving as the Colonel of the 7th Michigan Cavalry. His patent was secured as of December 8, 1863. The majority of these that I have seen have come from the Petersburg, Virginia area.
