Description: Hard to find .28 Wood's Patent cartridge with the slightly dished flat head casing. The British patent for these was awarded as Patent No. 309 of 1865. These were manufactured for use with the .28 five-shot Wood's Patent front-loading revolver. A hard Civil War era cartridge to find!
