Z5017 Massachusetts "Nine Years" Long Service Medal No. 2641
Description: Nice numbered Massachusetts "Long Service" medal No. 2641. This medal was awarded on August 2, 1915 to Pvt. Elmer H. Bunker of F Company 8th Infantry Regiment. This piece has an upper suspension bar that reads "Massachusetts" with a lower suspension bar that reads "Nine Years." The upper suspension bar is slightly bent as well as the pin on the back. The lower suspension bar and bronze medal are fine. The bars are connected by a strip of corduroy that has frayed at several points.
