Description: Nice early button with detail. This one reads, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" across the top with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on a ribbon below. The eagle with a shielded chest sits below with wings spread. Exceptional high relief example with the stand up shank intact. This is a scarce backmark for this style of button.
