Z5213 .31 Pocket Pistol Cartridges by Colt Cartridge Works

Description: Very nice packet of 6 .31 envelope cartridges manufactured by Colt's Cartridge Works of Hartford Connecticut. This style of packet has a drilled wooden block with an outer paper wrapper. It still retains the brass pull wire to open the packet. These date from approximately 1859-1860 and would be used with the Model 1849 Colt Pocket Revolver. This packet is in very nice shape with some wear to the bottom rear edge. This would make a great addition to any cased revolver set.
