Z5466 Rare Hazard’s "Deer Powder” Gunpowder Tin Enfield, Connecticut (1/2 lb.) Description: Very rare gunpowder tin for Hazard’s "Deer Powder” manufactured in Enfield, Connecticut. This tin still retains its lid which is just a pointed piece of sheet metal held in place by friction. The soldered lid plate has detached at one end on the top. There are a few small dents but nothing major. The largest dent is on the back near the top. This tin still retains the majority of the original green label. The graphics feature a hunter wearing a top hat. He is standing in a field and firing a flintlock into the air. This tin smells like tobacco smoke. The label reads as follows:
