Z5520 Excavated Masonic Cufflink
Description: Very nice single cufflink that would have originally come in a set of two. These date from the late 1700’s and possibly into the early 1800’s. This one came out near an early house site just outside of Shepherdstown. It features a ruler and compass in the center. The top portion is flanked with a moon on the left and a sun on the right. The bottom has a trowel on the left and a triangle on the right. There is a small hammer head in the very center that is weak.
Backmark: Blank
Measures: 12 x 15 mm
Recovered: Shepherdstown, West Virginia
