Z3019 Sectioned .58 Rimfire Cartridge Casing by Fitch Van Vechten
Description: Here is an excellent sectioned casing that has been professionally cut and soldered together. The headstamp is "F.V.V&CO." Fitch Van Vechten produced rimfire cartridges between 1864 and 1865. This grouping is neat because it was obviously prepared for a cartridge board or perhaps an early salesman sample. There are two holes in the casings which are soldered together. This example is an excellent display showing the fulminate groove on the casings.
Measures: OAL 1.165"
