Description: Nice example of the Model 1871 Remington "Army” pistol cartridge. This example was manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal and is an internally Benet-primed cartridge. This cartridge has an internal copper anvil, and the casing is slightly necked with two crimps above the head. A very nice example of an Indian War cartridge!
