Description: Desirable .44 long rimfire cartridge with the raised "U” headstamp. This one was manufactured by the Union Metallic Cartridge Company. According to Barber the headstamp was used for a very short period between the late 1870’s and early 1880’s.

Headstamp: Raised "U” within an impressed circle.

Measures: D .439” OAL 1.530” CL .961” RD .511” HD .439”
