Z5701 Scarce 1” or .90 Gatling Canister Case
Description: Scarce 1” Gatling canister casing. This cartridge is more commonly known as the .90 Gatling canister round. It is a 1” round necked down to hold a .90 projectile and would have had several small canister rounds packed between the main projectile and the powder charge. I haven’t been able to find much information on this cartridge casing. It is listed in Hoyem’s book, but he lists it as an unknown manufacturer. The case mouth is slightly out of round and the copper primer is intact.
Measures: CL 4 3/16” RD 1.228” HD 1.104” MD .946” avg.
Reference: "The History and Development of Small Arms Ammunition” Hoyem Vol. 2 Pg. 77 (CFMG77 Loaded)

Price: $425.00 USD (Sale Pending)
