Z5835 Pasteboard Packet of Percussion Caps by Wallace & Sons
Description: Nice condition pasteboard percussion cap container filled with U.S. Waterproof Musket Caps. This one is mostly full, but I haven’t counted the exact number of caps in the packet. There is a single lead ball that is in the packet that measures .399.” The face reads, "U.S. WATERPROOF MUSKET CAPS. / NEW YORK.” The top is slightly pushed in, and the bottom has writing in pencil.
Measures: 2.291” x .896”
Recovered: Personal effects of Dr. Theodore S. Christ 45th Pennsylvania Infantry, 9th Corps.
