Description: Early No. 12 shotshell manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company in Lowell, Massachusetts. This example is unprimed with a modern plastic wad inserted to protect the mouth. This example has an unprimed and plated cup. The U.S.C.Co. became famous for their "Black” shotshells.
