According to Iverson’s book, they were a sporting goods dealer in New York and were founded in 1888. In 1929, the business became Abercrombie & Fitch Co. This shell was manufactured by The Union Metallic Cartridge Company for Von Lengerke & Detmold. It includes a white and black top wad, with a brown paper hull with a two-piece brass cup with a height of 1.050.”
