.30 “Pedersen Device” Ammunition

Z6035 .30 "Pedersen Device” Ammunition
Description: Scarce and minty, full box containing 40 rounds of the Pedersen Device cartridges. These were used in the Pedersen Device which converted the 1903 Springfield into a semi-automatic rifle. At the time, the Pedersen Device was considered "Top Secret” which is why the box has a .30 Pistol designation. Fortunately, WWI ended before the devices could be used. The devices and ammunition were ordered to be destroyed. This box is in "as issued” condition and has been covered and sealed. A must have for any WW1 collector or M1903 collector! The label reads as follows:
