Z6611 Single Mourning Cufflink with an Urn Motif
Description: Very nice, excavated example with the stand-up shank intact. The face is heavily silvered with an intricate urn in the center surrounded by a border. This is a single cufflink and would have originally been attached to another by an elongated oval keeper. These date from the late 1700’s to the very early 1800’s. The urn was a very popular motif of the era. This example still has a little thread wrapped around the shank.
