Z6784 Full Sleeve of .56-50 Spencer Carbine Cartridges
Description: Full, opened, and correct sleeve containing seven .56-50 Spencer cartridges for the Model 1865 Spencer carbine. If I had to take a guess, I would think these were manufactured by C.D. Leet. All seven cartridges are housed in a pasteboard sleeve wrapped in paper. One end is open as well as one long corner across the top. The ammo is in good condition and still has black spots and lubricant remnants as it should.
Originally, these were packaged in sleeves of seven cartridges with a total of six sleeves per box totaling 42 cartridges. This packet would look great sitting next to your Model 1865 Spencer. An excellent example of early Indian War era Spencer cartridges!
Headstamp: None with chatter marks.
