Z6851 18MM Milbank-Amsler Rimfire Cartridge
Description: Nice example 18mm (.709”) rimfire cartridge known as the Milbank-Amsler. These were used in the 1867 Prelaz-Burnand conversion rifles. This is the largest size rimfire manufactured for any of the conversion rifles. A decent example with two very small dents near the case mouth on one side. This example has the triangle with angled lines stamped into the head. The bullet has an even oxidation.
Headstamp: Impressed triangle with lines, one tick mark and machining marks.
Measures: OAL 1.572” CL .960” RD .814” HD .733” CM .705” BDaCM .700”
