Z6895 Two-Piece Navy Cap Button 1840’s-1850’s
Description: Nice two-piece Navy button with an eagle on a lined field facing right on top of an upright anchor. This one has a rope border with 13 stars encircling the eagle. It has a tin back with a slightly bent brass loop shank. These little buttons date to the 1840’s-1850’s and were more than likely worn on Navy caps.
Headstamp: Blank tin back.
Measures: 12.66 mm
