Description: Decent cartridge known as the .40-63 and .40-70 Ballard Everlasting. The cases for both share the same measurements with the .40-70 case being heavier. A popular sporting and target cartridge of the late 1800’s. Nice example with a paper patched bullet and a brass case and primer. The top portion of the case is evenly tarnished all the way around.
