Z6925 .45 Exposition "Blank” Cartridge by Winchester
Description: Scarce cartridge known as the .45 Expo blank cartridge manufactured by The Winchester Repeating Arms Company of New Haven, Connecticut. They were made for Winchester’s exhibit at the Centennial Celebration of the Louisiana Purchase from France in 1903. The exposition was held in St. Louis in conjunction with the World’s Fair in 1904. Shuey states these were manufactured from 1904-1910. This example has a tan wad, a brass case, and a copper primer. Nice example with a few small spots on the case.
