Z6931 Indian War Era Militia Shoulder Belt Plate (1875-1890)
Description: Decent militia style should belt plate for use with the 2nd Regiment or Company. This example has a rolled brass body with a stamped nickel-plated number "2” attached to the face. All three brass loops are still on the back of the 2. The attachment pin on the reverse is missing with the partial catch hook in place. The plate still retains the original curvature. A decent Indian War era example of a company or regiment cross belt plate.
