Z6947 Empty .38 S&W Merwin & Hulbert Ammunition Box
Description: Scarce "Picture” ammunition box for the .38 S & W Merwin & Hulbert single action revolver. This example was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company of New Haven, Connecticut. The top label is red with black print. Everything is clear with a little surface wear. The red side label is mostly intact. The bottom of the box exhibits light shelf wear. The inside of the box is lightly soiled, and the yellow Winchester primer label is intact and legible. There is one small corner split on the lower left side of the lid. All other corners and seams are intact. A very scarce box by Winchester!
