Z7074 Rare .50 2” Sharps Rifle Cartridge

Description: Scarce cartridge known as the .50 2” Sharps or the .50-85/90-450. These were manufactured for a few years and examples are extremely scarce. It has a flat nose bullet with a slight belt right at the case mouth. The case is brass and slightly necked and the primer is brass as well. The bullet was coated years ago to prevent oxidation. The case appears to be lacquered with a few spots. A nice example with writing on the side that could be removed if desired. A very rare cartridge!
