Z7076 .56-46 Spencer Extra Long Short Neck Cartridge
Description: Hard-to-find .56-46 Spencer rimfire cartridge used in the Spencer Sporting Rifles. This example has the scarcer extra-long case with the short neck. Some say these were manufactured by The United States Cartridge Company. There are no boxes to prove it per Marcot’s book. There is evidence that they were issued in sleeves of seven rounds which is typical for military boxes of the era. This example is in nice shape with an oxidized bullet and tooling marks on the head. A rare example!
