Z7170 .45-70 Sharps Straight 2.1” Board Dummy Cartridge
Description: Decent .45-70 Sharps straight board dummy cartridge with a 2.1” case. The case is identical to the .45-70 while the bullet is a little different. Hoyem lists one as the .45-50 S.S. and you will also find it listed under a .45-75 S.S. cartridge. This example has a flat nose paper patched bullet, a brass case, and a brass primer. There are two holes on the back or board side and a single punch crimp. The case is slightly torn between the board attachment holes. This example does not have a wood rod insert. A decent example with original lacquer and spotting with a dark face. The paper patch is partially torn on the back and has light soiling.
