Z7245 .40-60 Marlin "Board Dummy” Cartridge by W.R.A.Co.
Description: Nice example of the .40-60 Marlin wood rod "board dummy” cartridge. These were used in the Marlin 1881 and 1895 lever-action rifles. This example has a flat nose bullet, a 2.1” brass case, and the top of the copper primer is missing. It has a wood rod on the interior and two holes punched on the board side. The bullet is a little loose but will not slide out of the case mouth. A nice example with plenty of original lacquer.
