Z7247 .40-60 Marlin "Board Dummy” Cartridge by W.R.A.Co.
Description: Nice clean example of the .40-60 Marlin "board dummy” cartridge. These were used in the Marlin 1881 and 1895 lever-action rifles. This example has a flat nose bullet, a 2.1” brass case, and a #1 oval copper primer. It does not have a wood rod on the interior and two holes punched on the board side. A nice early example with plenty of original lacquer and a few spots. This one came in labeled as "From 1884 Board.”
