Z7255 .45 Express "Board Dummy” Cartridge by W.R.A.Co.

Description: Decent .45-125 Express wood rod "board dummy” cartridge by Winchester. These were used in the Winchester single shot rifle. This example has a flat nose lead bullet, a 3.25” necked brass case, and a #1 oval brass primer. These first appeared in the 1886 Winchester catalogue and were gone by 1917. A nice example without the copper tube in the bullet. It has four holes on the board side and a few small nominal dents.
