Z7432 Colt .36 Navy Cartridge Tin by Eley Bros. of London
Description: Rare tin that once contained 50 Colt revolver cartridges manufactured by Eley Brothers of London. This tin is now empty and is missing the tin lid. It once contained Eley manufactured Colt cartridges for the .36 Navy or .36 Belt Pistol. The galvanized tin is in nice shape on the outside and inside of the tin. There is one very small bump on the top edge and a few very small sharp pointed dents in the side. These may be from trying to open the label seal with a knife. The cartridges that were originally packed into the tin would have been skin or foil wrapped cartridges which were then covered in an exterior paper envelope with a black/brown pull string. Luckily, the majority of the bright orange label is still intact! Here is your chance to buy a scarce Colt revolver accoutrement!
